With Mothering Sunday and Easter just round the corner we’re all going to be buying cards in the next few weeks to send to those we love. But buying fantastic cards can be an expensive business.

Our reporter Katy visited Inkspot Gallery and discovered there’s some great opportunities to learn how to make really special cards coming up in the next few weeks. Perhaps making cards could be a way of saving a few pennies in these financially difficult times.
The workshops will be held at Inkspot Gallery at the corner of Clifton Street and Newport Road. They’re all on Saturday afternoons from 2 – 4pm and cost £10. Just call 20490254 to book a space.
On Saturday 21st March you can make Victorian and Nouveau designs.
On Saturday 28th March you can make cards using different types of inks and ink pads.
And finally on Saturday 4th April you can make cards using the new punky chic stamps.
